Great Smog of London.
London Smog: The Smog that covers city of London and lasted for five days from 5 December to 9 December in 1952. The greatest caused due to the combination of industrial pollution and high pressure weather condition. The Great smog resulted thousand of deaths. It was a period of usually cold weather combined with and anticyclone and when conditions collected air pollution mostly arise due to the use of coal. During this cold weather Londoners use much for cold and usually to keep warm themselves. The great smog of London affected that the visibility was reduced to few meters which makes driving difficult or almost impossible public transport were stopped, ambulance services stopped, smog was so dense resulted cancellation of concerts, film screenings, outdoor sports were cancelled.
